Félagsbíó is a very cool little cinema room, beautifully presented with luxurious leather seats, an impressive wide-screen display and a 7.1 surround sound system, making it an ideal venue for smaller lectures, workshops and presentations.
At other times, it shows a range of Icelandic music documentaries as part of the Icelandic Museum of Rock ‘n’ Roll.
The hall can be rented at agreed times during the day.
The name is a tribute to an old cinema in the town, which used to be the headquarters of the local theater company.
